Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and the choices you have.
This policy explains how SolarCalcLab (solarcalclab.com) handles information. Last updated: 8 October 2026.
Calculator inputs
Our calculators run in your browser. The numbers you type are used to show your result and are not stored in an account. Location-based tools may send the location you enter to a sunlight data service, such as PVGIS, to fetch data for that spot.
Contact form
If you contact us, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We do not sell this information or use it for marketing without your permission.
Analytics and cookies
We may use privacy-respecting analytics, such as Google Analytics, to understand which pages are useful. These services may set cookies and process your IP address. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Hosting and security
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like all web servers, it keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Advertising
If we show ads in the future, ad partners such as Google may use cookies to serve and measure ads. We will update this policy and provide any consent options your region requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. Contact us through our contact page.
